Please join in the fun as we spread some Christmas cheer around the village!

This event is sponsored by the Rio Area Community Club.

Meet in the parking lot of Living Gospel Church between 3:30 and 4 pm. Dress for the weather. We'll ride in wagons and begin at 4 pm.  We'll make stops throughout the village to sing Christmas carols to both senior housing communities and personal stops for those who might need some extra cheer or are more shut in.

We'll gather at the Rio Depot Park around 6 pm to do our annual tree lighting ceremony. Come join us as we count down and watch all the lights turn on!

Then we'll head back to Living Gospel Church to share in a meal and fellowship in the lower level of the church. We'll have soup, sandwiches, sweet treats,  hot cocoa,  coffee and water.

It's a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season and we invite you to join us for some or all of it!

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loudly for all to hear."   -Buddy the Elf.

If you know of someone within the village of Rio who could be blessed with a personal stop, please contact Pastor Karrie at 608 566-3936. Please also make sure they know we would be stopping by.
