Isaiah 60:1–3 (NIV) 
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 
 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. 

Jesus is the Light of the World. Jesus shines in the darkness-no matter what darkness you are in or will face in your life-His light will shine through as you let Him in. His glory will cover you. Arise people of God-our light has come! We are no longer in darkness. The darkness can no longer consume us or hold us down. Rise up! He lights our path and shows us the way we should go that leads to peace and joy everlasting. Let us follow Him. 

John 14:27–29 (NIV) 
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. 28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
